The History Of QuinTron
Established in 1961, QuinTron Instrument Company, Inc. is the first medical device company to develop specialized breath analyzers and collection systems for gastrointestinal disorders. A pioneer in the field of breath analysis, QuinTron has built a reputation for reliability, accuracy, and innovation.
QuinTron was founded by Lyle H. Hamilton, Ph.D., an emeritus professor of physiology at the Medical College of Wisconsin. In the early days, the company focused on the field of pulmonary instrumentation. In 1978, QuinTron expanded into collection systems and analyzers for respiratory gas analysis for the detection of disaccharide malabsorption.
Since then, QuinTron has worked closely with medical specialists to develop the most accurate and easy-to-use sample collection tools and the most accurate analyzers in the field of breath testing.
